A Fire Risk Assessment is a review of your premises to assess it for fire risk. The process involves an inspection of the premises to identify potential fire hazards, such as ignition sources and combustible materials.

Assessments should be carried out at regular intervals to ensure ongoing safety. Typically assessments are done annually, or when there is significant change to your premises, i.e. renovations or alterations.

Carrying out the assessment will consist of-

  1. Identifying the fire hazards.
  2. Identifying people at risk.
  3. Evaluating, removing, or reducing the risks.
